Christoph Schaub

Christoph Schaub (born 1958 in Zurich ) is a Swiss filmmaker, documentary and film director.

Life

After the Matura Type B in Zurich Christoph Schaub started a German language studies, which he broke off in favor of the film world. As co-founder of the media cooperative video store Zurich, he worked as an editor, cameraman and assistant director on many projects in the 1980s. 1988 was the production company Dschoint Ventschr from which Schaub retired in 1992.

A year later he initiated with like-minded cinema Morgental in Zurich. He was co-founder of Neugass cinema AG, the cinema RiffRaff built in 1998 and the cinemas Bourbaki (2007) took over in Lucerne.
