Harald Spörl

Harald Spörl ( born October 31, 1966 in Bamberg ) is a former German football player. He is regarded as " HSV- veteran " because he played in the Bundesliga over 14 years exclusively for Hamburger SV.

The midfielder completed in the period 1987 to 2001 321 Bundesliga games in which he scored 60 goals. His best season saw the native of Franke in the series 1995/1996, in which he with 14 goals (4 penalty) HSV - a remarkably high number for a midfielder - resulted in the UEFA Cup.

At this time he was also the expanded group of national team, for which he, however, was never used. His nickname is " Lumpy ".
