Hari Kunzru

Hari Mohan Nash Kunzru (* December 1969 in London) is a British journalist and novelist.

Life

Kunzru was born as the son of an English mother and an Indian father in London and grew up in Essex. At the University of Oxford, he studied English and made then a degree in philosophy and literature at the University of Warwick. He wrote for various UK and international magazines, including The Guardian, Daily Telegraph, The Economist, and Wired. The Impressionist was his first novel.

He was awarded the Observer titled Young Travel Writer of the Year in 1999 and elected in 2003 by the literary magazine Granta among the twenty best young British novelists. His latest book Revolution is published in German in 2008.
