The Harle is a small river in the district Witt mouth in Ostfriesland. It lies entirely within the city Witt mouth and ends in the district Harlesiel through a sluice in the North Sea. From the river their type is a march waters.
Swell
Near the Wittmunder district will flow the two arms Norder source depth and Southshore low to Harle together. In both there are water bodies which have their origin in boggy.
Run
The Harle runs east past the Wittmunder core city and then flows in a meandering to the north. It crosses the district Carolinensiel and flows through a sluice and a pumping station in the Harlesieler port and from there into the North Sea. According to her, the historical Harlebucht is named.
Tourism
Tourist is the Harle as paddles area and in the ports of Carolinensiel Harlesiel and also for the Boat and ferry traffic is important. Harlesiel is Fährort Wangerooge Island.
