Harley Flanagan

Harley Frances Flanagan is an American musician of the New York hardcore scene.

Life

Age of twelve Flanagan played as a drummer for the hardcore band The Stimulators. He rose, however, because he inspired, especially by the Bad Brains and Lemmy Kilmister, wanted to play harder music. Along with Dave Hahn (formerly Manager of Bad Brains ), John Berry ( founding member of the Beastie Boys) and Dave Stone from Even Worse, he founded, this time as bassist for the band, the Cro -Mags.

Mid-1980s was Flanagan founding member of the hardcore band Murphy 's Law. Here he played the drums again. However, above all, the Cro -Mags were in the foreground and Flanagan left Murphy 's Law again.

In the early 1990s left Flanagan Cro -Mags. This broke up shortly thereafter. Flanagan founded with Cro -Mag guitarist Parris Mayhew and ex- Biohazard guitarist Bobby Hambell the group White Devil, which was later renamed in samsara. In 1998, she called themselves then Cro -Mags and released an album. In 2001, she broke up.

Flanagan was dedicated to the next project, which he calls Harley 's War. In 2003, an album on the next new songs four songs from the early 1980s can be found.

Trivia
