Harmångersån

The Harmångersån is a river in the Swedish province of Gävleborg. It flows through the town Nordanstig in the northern Hälsingland.

The 81 km long river drains an area of ​​1197.1 km ². The Harmångersån longer has its source to the border with Västernorrlands. In the upper reaches of the river is called also Framängsån or Skansån. It flows through the lakes Hasselasjön and large lake, passed the place Strömsbruk and empties into the Gulf of Bothnia.

About ten kilometers from its mouth is the Kirchdorf Harmånger on its southern shore. Here also the European Route 4 crosses the river.
