Harold Saxton Burr

Harold Saxton Burr ( born April 18, 1889 in Lowell, Massachusetts, † February 17, 1973 ) was an American professor of anatomy at Yale University School of Medicine.

In 1939 he attracted media attention by demonstrating that salamanders have an electric field. He represented as a consequence the thesis that being true for all living things.
