Harriet Sansom Harris

Harriet Sansom Harris ( born January 8, 1955 in Fort Worth, Texas ) is an American actress.

Harris began as a teenager as an actress in New York, she attended the famous Juilliard School. After completing her school she joined the drama troupe founded by John Houseman and remained there for three years. During this time she appeared in productions of Shakespeare's King Lear and Romeo and Juliet.

Her stage breakthrough was in the original cast of Paul Rudnick 's Jeffrey, where she was the only female actress. Through their work, and Jeffrey got numerous TV appearances, including a recurring role in the TV series Frasier.

Her most famous role has Harris in the series Desperate Housewives as Felicia Tilman. Your own series ( including The Five Mrs. Buchanans, Union Square, It's All Relative ) were unsuccessful, but their assessment of the roles were very positive.

Harris received a Tony Award in 2002 for Best Actress in a Musical.
