Harry Guardino

Harry Guardino ( born December 23, 1925 in New York City, New York, USA, † July 17, 1995 in Palm Springs, California ) was an American film and theater actor.

Life

Harry Guardino who enjoyed his education at the hair high school in New York City since the early 1950s was in both film and television, but also on Broadway in the spotlight. Internationally known Guardino 1958 with the film Houseboat 1958 for which he was awarded in 1959 for a Golden Globe Award. Guardino, who was usually offered by his appearance villain roles, was mostly in television series in front of the camera. One of his most famous roles in a feature film was that of Barabbas in Nicholas Ray's film King of Kings Bible from the year 1961. Was also Guardino 1971 in Dirty Harry in front of the camera.

Guardino was married twice, and was the father of four children, daughter Michele and sons Paul, Gregory and Michael.

He died in 1995, at the age of 69, from lung cancer.
