Harry S. Barlow

Harold "Harry" Sibthorpe Barlow ( born April 5, 1860 in London, † July 16, 1917 ) was an English tennis player.

Barlow took from 1883 to 1900 to tennis tournaments. The Wimbledon Championships 1889 he reached the final of the All- Comers Contest, but lost there against William Renshaw, after he had been awarded four match points. The following year he again lost the All- Comers final, this time against Willoughby Hamilton. In 1892, he won the doubles competition at the side of Ernest Lewis. Barlow's strategy was the serve-and - volley game.

Barlow died in 1917 at the age of 57 years in London's Kennington.
