Harvey Cohen

Harvey R. Cohen ( * September 13, 1951 in Boston, † 14 January, 2007 Agoura Hills ) was an American film and television composer and orchestrator.

Life and work

Cohen wrote mostly music for television series and television and video productions. These include the Disney animated film Belles magical world ( Belle 's Magical World, 1998) and the series Batman ( 1992), Aladdin ( 1994), Casper ( 1996), Superman (1996) and Batman and Robin (The New Batman Adventures, 1997).

Cohen was employed primarily as Orchestrator. So he led the recordings to film scores as Charlie - All Dogs Go to Heaven ( All Dogs Go to Heaven, 1989), Hudson Hawk - The Thief (1991 ), Robin Hood - Prince of Thieves (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, 1991 ), The naked Gun 33 ⅓ ( naked Gun 33 ⅓: The Final Insult, 1994), South Park: The Movie - bigger, longer, uncut (South Park: bigger Longer & Uncut, 1999), The Patriot ( The Patriot, 2000), King Kong (2005) and Mission: Impossible III (2006).

Harvey Cohen died, after he had spent his whole life and heart problems at a young age a first infarction suffered a heart attack.
