Hasanabad, Tehran

Hasan Ābād is a neighborhood and traditional commercial district in the center of Tehran. It developed in the Qajar and was named after the then Prime Minister Mirza Hassan Mostowfi ol Mamalek. In the vicinity of the district there are some government buildings.

The district has an eponymous course, which was designed by the Armenian architect Ghelidj Baghelian and his engineer Leon Tadossian. It consists of four identical buildings, each occupying one corner of the square.

After the Islamic Revolution of 1979, the name was changed to 31 Schahriwar Square. Since then he is known by two names. Some buildings have been renovated in recent years and expanded to include two modern stories.

The place is reachable by subway Teheran.
