Hassan ibn Yahya

Hassan ibn Yahya (full name: Seif al -Islam Hassan ibn Yahya ibn Muhammad Hamid al-Din, * 1908 in al - Qafla in Sanaa, † June 13, 2003 in Jeddah ) was a prince, diplomat, Viceroy and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Yemen.

Life

Hassan ibn Yahya was up to the assassination of his father Yahya Muhammad Hamid ad-Din in February 1948, Governor of the provinces of Ibb, Sana'a and Hodeida and then took over the April 1948 to 18 June 1955, the Office of the Viceroy and Prime Minister in the Kingdom of Yemen. 1955 - 2003

From 1955 headed Hassan ibn Yahya as an ambassador of his country 's diplomatic representation at the United Nations in New York. Hassan ibn Yahya was the son of Sharifa Huriya, daughter of Seif al -Islam Mohammed al - Mutawakkil. He was married to four women and left seven sons. Hassan ibn Yahya died in exile in Jeddah and is buried in Medina.
