HaTzofe

Hatzofe (Hebrew הצופה translated, The Observer ) was a Hebrew daily newspaper, published in Israel. In April 2007, the daily production was reduced to one weekly. According to the website of the newspaper this is Zionist, nationalist and religious. It is also claimed that the newspaper is the only right-wing daily was Israel that can be attributed to the religious Zionism. The newspaper has been associated with the Mizrachi movement and was a supporter of the Israeli National Religious Party party.

History

In May 2003, Shlomo Ben- Tzvi bought the newspaper in 2004 and in addition the Makor Rishon newspaper weekly. On April 25, 2007 Hatzofe stopped the daily production. Since then, the newspaper was published only as a weekly supplement in the newspaper Makor Rishon. This, however, now appeared daily. The last Hatzofe edition appeared on 26 December 2008.
