Haute-Kotto

Haute- Kotto (German Oberkotto ) is a prefecture in the Central African Republic with its capital in Bria.

Geography

The prefecture is located in the east of the country, bordered to the north by the prefecture of Vakaga, on the northeast by South Sudan, on the east by the prefecture of Haut- Mbomou, to the south by the prefecture Mbomou, on the southwest by the Prefecture of Basse- Kotto, on the west by the Ouaka Prefecture and to the northwest by the prefecture Bamingui - Bangoran.

In the north of the province of the Bongo Massif is in the springs of the largest river in the province of Kotto. The highest mountain is the province's 1,113 -meter-high Mont Aburassain on the border with Sudan.
