The department of Hautes -Pyrénées [ otpiʀene ] is a French department of order number 65 It is in the south to the Spanish border in the Midi -Pyrénées region in the central Pyrenees.
Geography
The department of Hautes -Pyrénées is clockwise surrounded by the departments of Pyrénées- Atlantiques, Gers and Haute -Garonne. In the south of the main ridge of the Pyrenees forms the border with Spain.
