Hawkins is an American television series that was produced by MGM Television for CBS. Between 1973 and 1974, a season with eight episodes with James Stewart was in the lead role. Among the guest stars in the series included, among others, Robert Webber, Bonnie Bedelia, Sam Elliott and Julie Harris. Stewart won lead actor for his performance as the Golden Globe Award, the series was nominated for two Golden Globes.
Action
Billy Jim Hawkins is an attorney in a small town in West Virginia. Together with his cousin RJ, who works as his assistant, he took over the defense of the accused, whose innocence he proves in the course of the sequence.
