Hay River (Canada)
It rises in northwestern Alberta and from there flows initially northwest to British Columbia. After a few kilometers, his course leads then in an easterly direction back to Alberta. At Meander River he changes his way north and flows into the same place in Hay River in the Great Slave Lake. The river has a catchment area of 48,200 km ² and forms including the Rainbow Lake.
At Hay River there are several small places, such as Rainbow Lake, Steen River and Enterprise.
