Hazel Brooks

Hazel Brooks ( born September 8, 1924 in Cape Town, Union of South Africa, † 18 September 2002 in Bel Air, California ) was an American actress.

Life

Even as a 18- year-old was she taken by Metro -Goldwyn -Mayer under contract and gave her film debut in 1943 with Du Barry was a Lady. Her biggest success came in 1947 on the side of Lilli Palmer in hunt for million and in 1948 with John Garfield as the unscrupulous Daphne in snares of fear. In 1953, she ended her film career and entered only once two years later as a guest star in the Loretta Young show front of the camera.

Hazel Brooks was married from 1944 until his death in 1960 with the 32 -year-older director Cedric Gibbons. Later she married Dr. Rex Ross and remained with him until his death in 1999 together.
