The HC Vrchlabí was a Czech ice hockey club from Vrchlabí who played between 2007 and 2011 in the sub-prime first league.

History

The Hockey Department of TJ Stadium Vrchlabí was founded in 1948 and played until the 1990s, only at the regional level ..

The home games of the section were from 1977 in the finished Zimni Stadium Vrchlabí, an open ice rink discharged. In 1997, out of the stadium TJ forth a pure hockey club, which has since called HC Vrchlabí. 2000, plans for a roof over the stadium. In 2002 the roof was finished and completed the renovation of the technical systems. Since then summarizes the ice rink total of 3000 spectators, which is now called DD Elektromont Aréna after the main sponsor. As of 2005, played the first team of the club in the third-rate second league and managed in the very first season, the playoff participation. As the main sponsor of the club DD Elektromont in summer 2011 withdrew, the club went into bankruptcy. For the continuation of the local ice hockey then the HC Stadion Vrchlabí was founded, but only participates in regional amateur championship.
