HD 117618 b

HD 117618 b is an exoplanet, the yellow dwarf HD 117618 orbits every 25.827 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was by Paul Butler, Geoffrey Marcy, CG Tinney et al. discovered in 2004.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of about 0,176 astronomical units and has a mass of about 56.59 Earth masses and 0.178 Jupiter masses.
