HD 132406 b

HD 132406 b is an exoplanet that accompanies the yellow dwarf HD 132406. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The exoplanet was by Da Silva et al. discovered in 2007.

Circulation and mass

The exoplanet orbiting the central star with a period of 974 days at a distance of about 2 astronomical units and has a minimum mass of about 5.6 Jupiter masses.
