HD 154857 b

HD 154857 b is an exoplanet, the yellow dwarf orbiting HD 154857. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The exoplanet was Chris McCarthy et al. discovered in 2004.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits the central star with a period of 398.5 days at a distance of about 1.1 astronomical units and has a minimum mass of about 1.9 Jupiter masses.
