HD 170469 b

HD 170469 b is an exoplanet, the yellow subgiant HD 170469 orbits every 1087 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was by Debra Fischer et al. discovered in 2007.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of about 2 astronomical units and has a mass of about 216.2 Earth masses and 0.68 Jupiter masses.
