HD 17156 b

HD 17156 b is an extrasolar planet, the yellow sub- giant HD 17156 orbits every 21.2 days. He was by Debra Fischer et al. discovered in 2007 using the radial velocity method.

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approximately 0.15 astronomical units at an eccentricity of 0.67 and a minimum mass of about 3.1 Jupiter masses (about 980 Earth masses ).
