HD 187085 b is an exoplanet that accompanies the yellow dwarf HD 187085. Due to its estimated minimum mass is suspected that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

The exoplanet was discovered as part of the Anglo-Australian Planet Search using the radial velocity method. His discovery was published in 2006.

Circulation and mass

The orbital period of the companion is about 1100 days. Its minimum mass is just under a mass of Jupiter, the semi-major axis of its orbit is estimated at about 2.1 astronomical units.
