HD 187123 b

HD 187123 b is an exoplanet, the yellow dwarf HD 187123 orbits every 3.096598 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was from Paul Butler et al. discovered in 1998.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of about 0.0426 astronomical units at an eccentricity of 0.02 and has a mass of about 167.9 Earth masses and 0.528 Jupiter masses.
