HD 188015 b

HD 188015 b is an exoplanet, the Yellow subgiant HD 188015 orbits every 461.2 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was by Geoffrey Marcy et al. discovered in 2005.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of about 1.2 astronomical units and has a minimum mass of 1.5 Jupiter masses ( about 480 Earth masses ).
