HD 208487 b is an exoplanet, the yellow dwarf orbiting HD 208487. Due to its mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

The exoplanet was founded in 2004 by Geoffrey Marcy and Paul Butler et al. discovered using the radial velocity method.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits the host star every 130 days at a distance of about 0.5 astronomical units at an eccentricity of 0.24 and a minimum mass of about 0.52 Jupiter masses.
