HD 213240 b

HD 213 240 b is an exoplanet, the yellow dwarf HD 213 240 orbits every 882.7 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was from N. C. Santos et al. discovered in 2001.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approximately 1.92 astronomical units at an eccentricity of 42.1% and has a mass of about 1500 Earth masses and 4.72 Jupiter masses.
