HD 28185 b

HD 28185 b is an extrasolar planet, the yellow dwarf orbiting HD 28185. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

In 2001 published Santos et al. the discovery of exoplanets using the radial velocity method.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits the central star with a period of 383 days at a distance of about 1.0 astronomical units and has a mass of about 5.7 Jupiter masses.
