HD 37124 b

HD 37124 b is an extrasolar planet, the yellow dwarf HD 37124 orbits every 154.46 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets has been using the radial velocity method also found HD 37124 b. The planet was by Geoffrey Marcy et al. discovered in 1999.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of about 0.529 astronomical units and has a mass of about 202.8 Earth masses and 0.638 Jupiter masses.
