HD 66428 b

HD 66428 b is an extrasolar planet, the yellow dwarf HD 66428 orbits every 1973 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was from Paul Butler et al. discovered in 2006.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approximately 3.18 astronomical units at an eccentricity of 46.5 % and has a mass of about 896.5 Earth masses and 2.82 Jupiter masses.
