HD 75289 b

HD 75289 b is an extrasolar planet, the yellow dwarf HD 75289 orbits every 3.509267 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was from Stéphane Udry et al. discovered in 1999.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of about 0.0482 astronomical units at an eccentricity of 3.4% and has a mass of about 148.5 Earth masses and 0.467 Jupiter masses.
