HD 82943 c

HD 82943 c is an exoplanet, the yellow dwarf HD 82943 orbits every 439.2 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was by Michel Mayor et al. discovered in 2001.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approximately 1.19 astronomical units and has a mass of about 553.1 Earth masses and 1.76 Jupiter masses.
