HD 8574 b

HD 8574 b is an extrasolar planet, the yellow dwarf orbiting HD 8574, all 225 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was by C. Perrier et al. discovered in 2001.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of about 0,759 astronomical units and has a mass of about 623.1 Earth masses and 1.96 Jupiter masses.
