Head over Heels (video game)

Head over Heels is a system developed by Jon Ritman, Bernie Drummond and Guy Stevens action-adventure game that was first released in 1987 for the Z80 computer.

Visually, Head over Heels has a lot of similarities with Ultimate Play The Game's Knight Lore and Alien 8 It uses an isometric view, similar to the Filmation technique of Ultimate first developed. Head over Heels is to Batman, the second developed by Jon Ritman and Bernie Drummond isometric game.

The game introduces an original concept: the player controls (initially separated) two figures instead of just one. The two characters have different abilities: Head can jump twice as high in the air change direction and use up donuts from a horn to immobilize enemies; Heels can run twice as fast, climb some stairs, the Head be denied, and carry around objects using a bag in the room. The ability to combine if both figures are united by about one-sixth of the game. Compared with its predecessors, the game offers a unique and revolutionary gameplay, more complex puzzles, and more than 300 rooms to explore.

Drummond contributed some famous surreal points, among whom were robots with a remarkable resemblance to the head of Prince Charles on the body of a Dalek, still there were enemies with elephant heads and stairs from dogs that wegteleportierten when Head entered the room.
