Healdsburg is drained by the Russian River. The geographic coordinates are: 38.62 ° N, 122.87 ° West. The metropolitan area has a size of 9.8 km ². Healdsburg is a wine center (see also the article Russian River Valley AVA, Dry Creek Valley AVA and Alexander Valley AVA) and was originally settled by Pomo Indians.
