Hecate Tholus is an extinct shield volcano in the Elysium Planitia region on the planet Mars. It lies north of the neighboring volcanoes Elysium Mons and Albor Tholus.

Hecate Tholus is 5.3 km high and has a diameter at the base of 180 km. Its complex structure caldera has a diameter of 10 km and is 600 m deep.

Radial ditches that were eroded by molten lava show on the flanks. At the northwestern edge of a crater is visible, which was created by the collapse after underlying magma chambers were emptied. The western edge also has traces of past glaciation.
