Hedwig of Münsterberg-Oels

Hedwig of Münsterberg - Oels (born 10 or June 12, 1508 in oil; † November 28, 1531 in Legnica ) was born Duchess of Münsterberg and Oels and Countess of Glatz and by marriage Margravine of Brandenburg- Ansbach.

Hedwig was a daughter of Münster Berger Duke Charles I, who was a grandson of the Bohemian King George of Podiebrad. Her mother was Anna, a daughter of the last Saganer Duke Johann II

On January 9, 1525 Hedwig married in Oels the Margrave George the Pious. She was George's second wife. From this marriage two daughters were born:

• Anna Maria (1526-1589)

• Sabine (1529-1575)

Hedwig died in Legnica, where she was also buried.
