Heikki Laine

Heikki Laine ( born October 17, 1983 in Helsinki ) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player who last stood until 2011 at the Espoo Blues in the SM- liiga under contract.

Career

Heikki Laine began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of HIFK Helsinki for the first team he held until 2007, was active from 2004 in the SM- liiga, the top Finnish league. In parallel, he played for the HCK Salamat and Kiekko -Vantaa in Mestis second-rate. In the 2007 /08 season, the winger ran on in the Mestis exclusively for Salamat. For the season 2008/ 09 he moved to JYP Jyväskylä, with whom he immediately became Finnish Champion. For this success he contributed with two goals and an assist in 17 games. In parallel, he ran for the Farm Team D team in Mestis. During the 2009/10 season the Finn stood at Étoile Noire de Strasbourg in the French Ligue Magnus on the ice. He then returned to his native Finnish and played for the Espoo Blues in parallel in the SM- liiga, as well as Players out on loan for Kiekko -Vantaa in Mestis. Since then he has vertragslos.
