Heikko Glöde

Heikko Glöde ( born July 12, 1961 in Berlin ) is a former German football player.

Playing career

Youth

Even as a child went Glöde with his father to the Berlin Olympic Stadium, and was in his own words an " avid fan of Hertha BSC. " So it was not surprising that he wanted to play there in his youth. However, it did with the old lady did not enforce right and he then moved to Hertha CFC 06 was followed by stations at SC Staaken and at Tennis Borussia Berlin.

Time as a professional

In Tebe Glöde began then to the second division 1980/81 season then his career as a professional footballer and played immediately after all 21 games ( 3 goals ). By merging the two seasons of the Charlottenburg however, missed the league.

Then he moved to the 1981/82 season in the Oberliga Berlin to the neighboring club SC Charlottenburg. With the newly ascended SCC Glöde just missed the walkover in the second league.

The newly crowned first division side Hertha BSC was good performances aware of him and committed Heikko Glöde 1982. As severed tail light but had to descend immediately again the Blue and Whites. The planned revival was in 1983/84 clearly missed in eleventh. For Glöde it went well and he was personally against it with 15 hits by far the best scorer of his team. The following season it was even worse, and Hertha locked it as 14. 1986 was followed even for the first time in club history, the descent into the low ranks.

Then moved Glöde 1986 for 120,000 DM to VfL Osnabrück, where he was to experience its most successful period. He played for four years as the undisputed regular at the Osnabrückern and was three times in succession leading scorer of VfL: 1988 (15 goals), 1989 ( 10) and 1990 ( 18).

Who coached by Klaus Schlappner 1 FC Saarbrücken became aware of him through these strong performances, prompting the obligation Glödes for 300,000 DM However Glöde came with Schlappner not cope and only under Peter Neururer it ran for him better. In his second season with the Saarlanders Glöde rose to the First League. However, the FCS undertook eleven new players and Heikko Glöde left the club.

For the season, he joined the second division FC Remscheid. However Glöde did not get along there and played only twelve games without a goal. In addition Remscheid rose as 23 immediately off again. Then Glöde ended his professional career.

Coaching career

1994, we acquired Glöde among others, along with his former colleagues from Osnabrück Heiko Flottmann the football teacher license. Then he returned to his native city and in 1995, the A- youth of Hertha BSC.

In 2001 he moved to VfL Wolfsburg, where he coached youth teams and qualified with this for the newly-formed U-19 league. In 2004, he was replaced as coach by Jörg Drüke.

Private

Glöde has a daughter and kicking as a hobby in the tradition team of Hertha BSC. He also operates the Centre for Physiotherapy ( fit & well by Heikko Glöde ) in Berlin Neu Westend.
