Heinrich Adolf Rinne

Heinrich Adolf channel ( born January 24, 1819 in Vlotho, † July 26, 1868 ) was a German otologist active in Göttingen.

He published in 1855 that was later named after him Rinne test, a test method for the hearing test. In this work ( Contributions to the physiology of the human ear), he described the anatomy and physiology of sound transmission to the ear, as well as 22 different tests for the same function, including the well-known today Rinne test.
