Heinrich Band

Heinrich Band ( born April 4, 1821 in Krefeld, † December 2, 1860 ibid ) was the inventor of the bandoneón, also Bandonion or bandoneon.

Heinrich Band took over from his father a small music business. Until 1844, he sold only with difficulty in his shop 40 - to 56 -note accordion, which he referred from Saxony. In 1848 he designed the 68 -tone bandoneon, which was later called the bandoneón. Heinrich band started to make the changes to the delivered instruments in series, it is shown that the sales by leaps and bounds increased.
