Heinz Baumann

Heinz Baumann ( born February 12, 1928 in Oldenburg ) is a German actor.

Life and career

Baumann worked at the beginning of his acting career, especially on the stage. A wide audience, he became known in 1960 for his role of Martin Hartog in the film comedy The haunted castle in the Spessart on the side of Liselotte Pulver. Other film and television productions quickly made him a permanent fixture in the media landscape. He was seen in Simmel films like And Jimmy went to the Rainbow (1971 ), All men become brothers (1973) and knows the answer just the wind (1974 ), had more screen appearances he in Peter Zadek's I'm an elephant, Madame (1969 ), Günter Gräwerts The Gardener of Toulouse (1982 ) and Peter Weck thief (1996 ). Baumann's popularity grew further by the television series SOKO 5113, in which he played the police chief Jürgen Sudmann between 1987 and 1997. In 2008 he had a 90 -minute special on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of SOKO 5113 ( The Act Göttmann ) another guest appearance.

The greatest success brought him the comedic crime series Adelheid and her killer, which was produced from 1992 to 2006. Here he became a chief inspector Strobel next to Evelyn Hamann, Tilo Prückner and Gisela May.

Personal

Heinz Baumann was married for 40 years until her death (2003) with actress Gardy Brombacher and has a daughter, Judith Richter, from a temporary relationship with Beatrice Richter. Baumann lives with his partner in Munich- Schwabing.
