Helen Clarke

Helen Clarke, MNZM ( born April 16, 1971 in Auckland ) is a former New Zealand hockey player. Clarke stood between 1991 and 2004 at the Gate of the New Zealand national hockey team and played a total of 166 internationals.

She took in Barcelona 1992, Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 in the Olympics in part. She also played in two World Championships ( 1998, 2002 ), two Commonwealth Games ( 1998, 2002 ) and four Champions Trophies (1999, 2000, 2002, 2004).

After the 2004 Olympics Clarke ended her career. In January 2005, she was awarded the New Zealand Order of Merit.
