Hélène Cixous

Hélène Cixous ( born June 5, 1937 in Oran, Algeria ) is a French writer. The mother, born in Germany, comes from an Ashkenazi family, the father, who died young family is Sephardic. Cixous is considered women's rights activist and Poststrukturalistin. She has been awarded the French National Order of Merit.

Life

1955, Cixous to France, where in 1959 their agrégation was.
