Helene Sedlmayr

Helene Sedlmayr Kreszenz, married Miller, ( born February 12 or May 12, 1813 in Trostberg, † November 18, 1898 in Munich) was considered the embodiment of the beautiful Münchnerin. Her portrait is one of the most famous of the 36 portrait paintings by Munich beauties of beauty king Ludwigs I. Schloss Nymphenburg.

A native of the Chiemgau Schuster daughter came in 1827 as a 14 -year-old maid to Altötting. A year later, in 1828, she moved to your place of employment to Munich. There she was Ausläuferin ( messenger service ) in a toy shop of the merchant Auracher in Briennerstrasse. As such, it also provided the toys for the royal children at the Bavarian court and there fell King Ludwig I, because of their beauty. From the court painter Joseph Karl Stieler she was portrayed in costume Altmünchner 1830 for Beauty Gallery of the king and was considered the epitome of the beautiful Münchnerin.

1834 she married King Louis valet Hermes Miller ( 1804-1871 ) and became the mother of ten children ( nine sons and one daughter). King Ludwig settled Enter twice as godparent for a son, Louis Miller by representatives ( both died young). Queen Theres was Taufzeugin for Therese Miller, Max of Bavaria Maximilian Miller, later court gardener and Prince Luitpold of Luitpold Miller ( also died young). The marriage was happy. She died on 18 November 1898 in Munich, and was buried in the Campo Santo of the Southern cemetery in Munich. The grave still exists in burial 38, row 3, grave 25

Their descendants, the Miller family, still live in Berchtesgaden.
