Helga Haugland Byfuglien

Helga Haugland Byfuglien ( born June 22, 1950 in Bergen) is Protestant Bishop of the Church of Norway, and since October 2, 2011 president of the Norwegian Bishops' Conference ( norw preses i bispemøtet ).

Byfuglien From 1978 to 1993 he was pastor. She then worked for four years Episcopal Vicar ( stiftskapellan ) in the diocese of Borg (east of Oslo). After a period as General Secretary of the Norwegian YMCA was consecrated on December 11, 2005 Bishop of Borg.
