Hell (crater)

Hell is an impact crater in the southern lunar front side, south of the Mare Nubium, inside the mountain ring Deslandres, near the western edge. The rim is hardly eroded, the interior has concentric structures.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 by the Austrian Jesuit and astronomer Maximilian Hell.
